Peter Hazeloop

Having worked with Michael P. Kahn & Associates from 2003 though 2016, Peter has played a role in valuing, structuring, negotiating, and closing 29 transactions valued in excess of $1.5 billion. He brings more than 35 years of residential real estate experience to the firm.

In addition, Peter has owned his own homebuilding company and worked with several public and private homebuilders at the Senior Executive and Division Management level. Peter served as President of Equity Homes in the Washington , D.C. area. 

Previously, Peter served as Vice President of Finance for Pulte Home North, a region consisting of eight divisions. He was involved in all aspects of the region's financial planning, reporting, asset allocations, and acquisitions.

Peter formerly served as Chief Financial Officer of Austin based Scott Felder Homes, through and continuing after the acquisition by Ryland Homes. He subsequently served as Vice President of Finance of Ryland's Southwest Region.

Peter's experience also includes positions as Vice President of Finance for NVHomes and Vice President of Finance for NVR Real Estate Management Group. Peter was involved with restructuring a large portfolio of NVR's loans which supported the company's successful reorganization. Peter also worked on the acquisition of Ryan Homes, assisted in NVHomes' Initial Public Offering, and led the expansion into California through negotiation of land acquisitions and development.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting both from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
